Our client has just upgrade from XI R2 to SAP BO 4.0 SP7. After the migration of the Crystal Reports, we encounter a problem where the scheduler for both of the system fails with the error message "Object failed to run due to an error while processing on the Job Server". This is not a problem on the SAP BO platform itself since we already check all the configuration of the server.
So, we try to open the problematic crystal report in Crystal Report designer (only certain report failed). When we try to refresh the Crystal Report, the Crystal Report Designer crash during compressing summary stages. From what we observe, the current number of record should be around 7.8 millions. We suspect that it is due to the number of records, so we try to reduce of data for testing purpose.
When we run the crystal report using 5 millions data, surprisingly the reports working fine. Things to note, last year at the same period of time our client did not face any problem with their system, but their data at that time not even reach 7 millions. So, is there any limitation on Crystal Report for the number of record or can someone explain what actually happening to our client reports. Thanks.
