There's not much info, so here's a couple of questions
- Is the currency the same? Sometimes you have a resulting value with a currency taken from the header.
- Have you checked if there is another field which DOES have the value you want?
- Is there customizing involved that could change this?
- Have you checked whether there is code in the getter or setter method that modifies the value?
- Have you done a trace for the query and gone further up in the call stack of the code whether it gets changed somewhere? Could you verify whether the result from the database is in fact that one?
- Can you change the value in the web ui? What does it turn into in the database?
